Ixthus Instrumentation announce the availability of a new low cost short range Ultrasonic Non-Contact distance sensor.

Code named the RPS-400-6, this compact versatile device is ideal where space and weight is at a premium.

Designed to operate in tough environments, it has an adjustable 50.8mm to 152.4mm sensing range, with an approximate 6 degree beam angle, which enables targets to be detected whilst tilting or vibrating.

Able to measure quickly and accurately with a response time of 2.1mS maximum, and an operating frequency of 300kHz makes the device a very repeatable and accurate sensor.

Power input is 20 - 30 VDC at 10 - 15mA.

Constructed from the highest recommended materials, this innovative product has many applications in the manufacturing, Automation, Process and Control Industries.
