Ixthus Instrumentation has a new high-quality low-voltage LVDT signal conditioner, with improved electronics, manufactured by US based Macro Sensors.

The LVC-2401 operates from 24 to 30V DC, and is ideal where line power is unavailable.

This low cost product gives a user-selectable low-noise +/-7.5V DC output, or 4-20mA current output.

Users can select an excitation frequency of 2.5, 5 or 10kHz, and can use a gain adjustment to permit operation with virtually any LVDT or RVDT.

Ideal where space is at a premium, the DIN rail mountable module, measuring only 101.8 x 74.95mm, is manufactured from the highest recommended materials, with all components mounted on a single circuit board enclosed in a tough polyamide housing.

The innovative LVC also supports multichannel applications by permitting the synchronisation of all unit oscillators within a system.

It can also operate within a temperature of -17 to 70C, and has applications in the process control, engineering, and manufacturing industries.
