The compact high-speed Migatron RPS400-6 sensor has a measurement range from 50 to 150mm with a narrow ultrasonic sensing beam of 25mm at its maximum.

Ultrasonic sensors are not affected by changes in target material or colour, and so even translucent or opaque objects can be detected.

The improved RPS400-6 from Migatron is capable of detecting vibrating or tilting targets with response times under 2ms.

This high speed sensor has an adjustable measurement range from 50 to 150mm with a narrow ultrasonic sensing beam of 25mm at its maximum.

Coupled with background suppression of measurements outside of the desired detection range the unit offers repeatable and accurate data.

This compact sensor has already been used on rugged conveyors, PCB handling equipment, filling machines, high speed counters for both quality and production control functions.
