The TMC-2016-8, a member of JAI Pulnix's AccuPixel line of cameras, is a 2.1Mpixel camera with a 1in progressive scan CCD.

The camera, which features a Kodak KAI-2093M imager and a Bayer colour filter array (CFA), is available in two versions: CameraLink and LVDS (RS644).

Featuring 1920 x 1080 resolution, the camera includes 8bit digital or optional 10bit linear output.

Similar to HDTV, the pixels are arranged in a 2K x 1K, 16:9 aspect ratio.

The TMC-2016-8's progressive scan provides full vertical and horizontal resolution at up to 8frame/s.

Two-row binning can be used to achieve 16frame/s.

The TMC-2016-8 features full asynchronous reset with electronic shutter up to 1/10,000s or pulsewidth exposure control, which allows triggered image capture and processing.

The casing measures 44 x 44 x 64mm and accepts standard C-mount lenses.

The TMC-2016-8's 2:1 aspect ratio makes it suited to a variety of machine vision applications, especially those requiring a wide field of view.

These include: airborne imaging, head-up displays, ITS (intelligent transportation systems), online inspection, defense, microscopy, medical imaging, PIV/measurement, and motion analysis.

The TMC-2016-8 is available now.

Volume pricing is available on request.
