The CV-M77 third-inch progressive scan RGB colour CCD camera has been upgraded to offer up to 74 frames per second at 1024 x 242 pixel resolution.

The CV-M77, a third-inch progressive scan RGB colour CCD camera from JAI Pulnix, has been upgraded to offer up to 74 frames per second at 1024 x 242 pixel resolution.

The camera features a Sony ICX204AK imager and 4.65um square pixels.

Its frame rate at full 1028 x 770 resolution is 25 frames per second.

Other features include a Bayer CFA, fast frame readout of every third line, DSP for excellent colour reproduction, asynchronous reset, and internal/external HD/VD selection.

The user can easily select the camera's shutter speed by programming it with a range of fixed shutter speeds from 1/25 to 1/10,000s.

Frame-delay readout allows edge preselect and pulsewidth controlled shutter with exposure-enable (EEN), write-enable (WEN) and pixel clock outputs.

Short ASCII commands allow fast mode setup (by Windows 98/NT/2000 software via RS232C) via a serial port.

The CV-M77 is well suited for such applications as machine vision, medical imaging, food processing and traffic monitoring.

The CV-M77 is available now.

Volume pricing is available on request.
