Governor opens new facility

Welcoming speeches were presented by Governor Lynch, New Hampshire Senator Tom Eaton and Keene Mayor Michael Blastos.
Both US Senators John Sununu and Judd Gregg sent their respects from Capitol Hill by messenger and letters of congratulation.
Acting president of Janos Technology, Bryan Torcivia and Janos' Director of Operations, Zsolt Pomazi were joined on the podium by the Monroe Group president, Phil Haag and Monroe Group's Director of Marketing, Mark Lenhart.
Tours of the new, 3700m2 facility were offered to visitors throughout the day.
The building has the capacity to expand an additional 1600m2 and was creatively designed using the latest lean and agile (aka flexible) manufacturing principles with continuous improvement concepts.
The new facility's Class 1000 clean rooms with a Class 100 rating in the assembly areas, the new equipment and Janos' state-of-the-art information system were of particular interest to the afternoon guests.
"The weather held steady at 75F, the speeches were thoughtful and brief, it was a wonderful day", remarked Lenhart.
"We'd like to thank all of the folks who helped with this event, especially our hard-working and ever-loyal employees".
He added: "We would like to send a special thank you to the Governor and all the distinguished guests who joined us on this landmark day to help celebrate our company's vision and our future in Keene, New Hampshire".
The newly designed plant will house the company's 80 employees with an additional 15 positions available.
