Janos Technology a premier manufacturer of precision infra-red optics and optical assemblies, now offers the unique ASIO microscopic objectives lens.

It is one of 11 in the ASIO series of infra-red lenses that support imagers with standardised back working distance, stop location, and F number for mid-wave infra-red (MWIR) systems.

The advanced ASIO microscopic objectives thermal imaging lens maximises the distance from the lens to the object.

The line includes magnifications of 1x, 2.5x and 4x to permit close inspection of small components using infra-red imagery.

For easy integration, the front objective section is interchangeable with the same "eyepiece" that mounts to the camera.

Janos Technology's ASIO series also includes the dual field of view (DFOV) lens featuring a motorised control for both switching fields and for adjusting focus.

All DFOV electronics are housed within the optical assembly, with an included base plate accessory available as a common mount between the lens and the camera.

The compact one degree FOV Lens, with a manual focus, is a high-performing lens for IR imaging of objects at extreme distances.

All ASIO lenses image in the mid-wave IR range of 3 to 5um, feature an F number of 2.3, stop size of 11mm and stop position at 25.4mm with an image diagonal measurement of 21mm.

The ASIO thermal imaging lenses have bayonet-type mounts for effortless use with standardised MWIR systems.

For standard night vision optics and IR imagers, Janos also offers a full line of COTS lenses that are ideal for cameras that image in the near-infra-red (1.5 to 3.0um) and the long-wave infra-red (roughly 8 to 12-14um).

The ASIO family of thermal imaging lenses is ideal for multispectral applications in military and defence, industrial, commercial OEM, R and D, aerospace, astronomy and more.
