James Walker Townson's Comflex chimney expansion joints of fluoroelastomer and fluoroplastics work in wet conditions.

James Walker Townson is expanding its chimney sealing activities with a full custom-design and installation service plus the use of top-grade fluoroelastomer and fluoroplastics materials.

The company's sealing systems have been developed to reduce installation costs and James Walker Townson now offers an extended warranty with its chimney work.

For long service life, these seals have the same corrosion resistance as the inside of the chimney while remaining flexible and abrasion-resistant.

James Walker Townson's multiple Comflex chimney expansion joints of fluoroelastomer and fluoroplastics work in wet conditions and can accommodate large axial movements using pantograph control techniques.

Managing Director Bill Evans, who chairs the CICIND (Comite International des Cheminees Industrielles) subcommittee for seals and expansion joints within chimneys, said: "Our custom-designed chimney sealing systems are renowned for reducing installation costs".
