James Walker Townson is offering a 24hr emergency response line for engineers concerned with the health of an expansion joint.
The service offers inspection of the problem within 24hrs and is open to all companies in the UK.
The freephone number, 0800 7833022, operates 24hrs a day, seven days a week.
Expansion joints are used to compensate for movement in pipes and ducts due to temperature and pressure changes and vibration.
They are an essential component in a variety of applications, including power generation, gas turbines, petrochemical plants and heating and ventilation systems.
