Loggers monitor pasteurisation and
sterilisation
The Thermologger series of data loggers monitors pasteurisation and sterilisation temperatures in cans, bottles, jars or other containers in the autoclave or tunnel process with the product.
The Thermologger series of data loggers, available from JDL, monitors pasteurisation and sterilisation temperatures in cans, bottles, jars or other containers - actually in the autoclave or tunnel process - with the product Verifying these temperatures and the time that the temperatures are present in the product is vital to the final quality of the product delivered to the consumer

Accurate Monitoring of Pasteurisation Process
One simple and easy way to monitor the pasteurisation process is to use the PUM's data logger available from JDL.
The system consists of a TDL thermologger battery operated by a high temperature user replaceable lithium battery, measuring only 70mm diameter by 30mm and giving the user more than a years logging (depending on duty cycle selected from 1s to 3min).
Four models are available: the TDL85 and TDL85DS range from 0 to 85C; the TDL100 from 0 to 100C; and the TDL130 from 0 to 130C.
The TDL85, 100 and 130 all use RTD (Pt100 four-wire) DIN ITS90 Grade A, sensors offering an accuracy of 0.1C.
The TDL85DS has a digital sensor with 0.5C accuracy at lower cost.
Win Pasteur software complements the thermologger and offers the user facilities for reporting in graphical or tabular format, plus calculating and reporting pasteurisation units (PU), maximum temperature, pasteurising time and time above a preset temperature.
These are all vital statistics in the field of quality control in pasteurisation and sterilisation processes.
This data can be exported into other programs if required.
Useful accessories include probes of various lengths, a smart cable for logger to PC interface.
The CP-60 calibration plug provides an easy to use 60C +/-0.1C calibration facility for the Thermologger data loggers and can be used to verify the accuracy of the system.
The CA-300A is a system calibration adapter that verifies and checks the Thermologger's electronic accuracy with an RTD (Pt100 simulator).
