Software increases data logger communications

A JDL (Just Data Loggers) product story

Software lets users edit information from all ACR data loggers that have communicated with the PC on which it is installed.

JDL has introduced Trend Reader 2 software for the ACR Smart Reader data loggers.

The main interface is through Windows Explorer views, and it lets users edit information from all ACR data loggers that have communicated with the PC.

Added features include: autoscan for connections and loggers; user interface based on Windows applications; drag-and-drop graph building; tree view for navigation and data management; advanced equation functionality; and comprehensive and functional data presentation.

With built-in menus for sample rate and mode, start delay, equations and more, logger set up is fast and easy.

Equations are already included for all ACR sensors and users need only select the appropriate equation from the menu, or customise their own equation.

Real-time readings are displayed in status setup so users can verify that the logger is working correctly before placing it in the field.

Data can be viewed in tabular and statistical format, and in graphical format for a more detailed analysis.

Either way, multiple channels of data can be displayed at once.

Multiple graphs can be displayed at the same time and compounded to create new graphs.

Users can add comments, change graph colours, zoom in on specific portions of data, display data using custom engineering units, and print or copy-paste graphs into reports and presentations.
