Precision ballscrew manufacturer Jena-Tec has launched a custom nut leadscrew design and manufacturing service for high speed positioning leadscrews, used in light duty applications.
Precision ballscrew manufacturer Jena-Tec has launched a custom nut leadscrew design and manufacturing service for high speed positioning leadscrews, used in light duty applications.
Typically, the leadscrew nuts are engineered in a high-performance plastic, though final selection of material is determined by the application, operational environment and overall performance requirements.
The nut is totally custom designed and manufactured to perfectly suit the design envelope and parameters of operation.
The standard screw used with the custom nut is manufactured from (300 series) stainless steel.
Jena-Tec has already supplied its custom nut leadscrews to major OEMs who have reported operational efficiencies and resultant cost savings following a switch from standard leadscrews to the custom nut leadscrew.
The leadscrews are ideal for use in a range of light duty, high speed positioning applications including medical, electronics, domestic appliances, robotics, scientific, worktools and general machinery operations etc.
