ModelCheck and drawing functions are new to this version.
Additional functions will be added to the library to satisfy user requests.
"JL-TK-Lib for Pro/Engineer enables users to customise their Pro/Engineer systems to meet their requirements", said Bob Monat, Jerand's President.
"Without JL-TK-Lib, some programs either would not be developed or have been developed using Pro/Toolkit".
New to this version of JL-TK-Lib are functions to execute ModelCheck and to get/set the current drawing model.
Documentation is provided for the J-Link examples.
Previously implemented functionality includes layouts, relations, and PDF generation.
In addition to the dynamic link library (dll) implementing the JL-TK-Lib functions, the product includes J-Link examples using all of the functions.
When purchasing licenses, the purchaser is entitled to have Jerand develop one additional set of related functions to be included in JL-TK-Lib.
"We could not complete various J-Link applications without using the JL-TK-Lib library due to customers requiring functions that are not present in J-Link", said Felco Solutions President JD Felkins.
"If a customer demands a function that is not included in the J-Link API then we call Jerand to update the JL-TK-Lib for us".
"Jerand provides a quick turn around to update or add functions for us when we need them".
Pro/Engineer is a 3D product design solution that helps companies develop detailed, intuitive and realistic digital product representations.
Pro/Toolkit is the C callable API for accessing Pro/Engineer.
J-Link is the Java-based API and Pro/Web.Link is the API for use in the embedded browser.
J-Link and Pro/Web.Link are functional sub-sets of Pro/Toolkit.
