Baltec AG and Jetcam have announced a partnership whereby Jetcam Expert CADCAM software will be offered together with Baltec's PWS range of Punching machines for Prototyping and small series.
Baltec AG, member of the Swiss-based Feintool Group, and Jetcam have announced a partnership whereby Jetcam Expert CADCAM software will be offered together with Baltec's PWS range of Punching machines for Prototyping and small series.
Baltec AG offers a range of high precision punching/bending centres that are mainly used in prototyping and small production batches.
Applications are found in the electronics industry, automotive and medical equipment.
The Baltec PWS machine tool offers both punching and bending and produces high accuracy sheet metal parts.
Jetcam International supplies a range of CADCAM software for the sheet metal working industry covering punching, cutting (laser, waterjet) and unfolding.
Jetcam systems are represented worldwide and more than 3,000 users work with the Jetcam Expert range software.
Says Mr Schoch, Baltec Sales Manager for the PWS range: "we were looking for an internationally supported and easy to use CADCAM software that offers our users a high degree of automation and a minimum training and support requirement.
