Installation of Jiskoot G5 gas samplers at the Foxtrot 3 platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea provided accurate allocation measurement and lower maintenance costs.
Installation of Jiskoot G5 gas samplers at the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij Foxtrot 3 platform in the Dutch sector of the North Sea provided accurate allocation measurement and lower maintenance costs The Jiskoot equipment was designed to take up to four identical samples simultaneously without the need for decanting

Blender controller enters distributed control mix
Three-term PID controller provides a cost-effective yet powerful and flexible solution for two-stream controlled rate or "wildstream" blending and analyser trim applications.
This reduces measurement uncertainty caused by the division of a single sample into smaller subsamples for analysis.
Four G5 samplers were mounted in a housing, with each one extracting samples into a separate Proserv 0.5-litre constant pressure receiver.
All samples can be isolated and removed from the system without shutting down.
Giving major time savings as well as high accuracy, the system was specially engineered to meet NAM's requirements with Incoloy 825 instrument tubing and Gyrolok fittings.
It also met the requested PED compliance, which Jiskoot claims only they can achieve and which was not provided by the old system.
Sample size is adjustable and the G5 pump operates at all pipeline pressures, giving repeatable sample size regardless of pressure fluctuations.
It operates as a pressure balanced pump with samples discharged at pipeline pressure to minimise evaporation or condensation and guarantee that each grab remains representative.
