A Jiskoot Fast Loop LPG sampling system chosen for installation with a new metering system at Algeria's Ohanet offshore production facility incorporated a variety of special application design requirements, including the system's ability to be fully isolated from the main line for ease of maintenance Extracting and storing multiple 1cm3 grabs of LPG from the process pipeline to provide representative samples for laboratory analysis, the system is a self-contained electrohydraulic design due to the lack of site air, only needing electrics and control signals

The sampling system uses a pumped fast or bypass loop taken off the line from which the sample is taken utilising a Jiskoot Cell Sampler pump.

Samples are stored in new Jiskoot CPC constant pressure receivers pre-charged with nitrogen to maintain them at line pressure so that gaseous elements are not lost.

Pressure gauges are provided on the filter inlet and outlet and on the pump discharge to indicate when filter cleaning is needed.

A flow indicator/switch provides a low flow output and can flag an alarm on the sample controller or halt the sampling operation, ensuring the elimination of non-representative sampling.

Providing ISO3171 sampling compliance, the system also incorporates a manual sample point taking full line pressure samples directly off the bypass loop via a monoflange.

The GRP sampler cabinet contains a heater giving frost protection.
