Jiskoot has supplied two replacement shipboard sampling control units to BSI Inspectorate in Singapore.

The fully pneumatic controllers eliminate the need for an electrical supply, allowing the samplers to be used on ships where the power is limited.

The units are housed in a stainless-steel control box with accessible components such as adjustments and indicators protected behind a hinged clear door.

All interconnecting couplers are "keyed" to ensure correct installation.

The Jiskoot Shipboard Sampling Systems collect flow-proportional representative samples at the exact point of custody transfer for assessment of the water content of crude oil or refined products.

They are simple to install and use, with a built-in calibration facility, and are bi-directional to suit all discharge and loading operations.

Mounted at the ship's manifold, the mobile samplers can be easily transferred between tankers.

They provide flow or time proportional sampling and are offered for single or dual channel operation with a 9 or 18 litre sample receiver and a mixer unit to ensure that samples held before analysis are thoroughly homogenised.
