A fiscal standard sampling system comprising dual fast loop pumps is used in conjunction with the metering package at the Darquain oil field south of Ahwaz.

A Jiskoot fiscal standard sampling system comprising dual fast loop pumps was selected to be used in conjunction with the metering package at the Darquain oil field south of Ahwaz for the National Iranian Oil Co Each sampling and quality measurement system comprised a skid-mounted fast loop sampling system complete with twin pumps, twin densitometers, cell sampler, Delta C water in oil monitor, Jiskoot 210 sampler and PR23 receivers

While operating at 100bar at 100C, the system had to use Class 900/1500RTJ flanges and pipework suitable for pressures up to 250bar.

The sampling process is controlled by the customer's control system and meets ISO and API standards.

In addition to sample collection, the system provides continuous readings of density, temperature, pressure, water content and low flow.

Switched signals show when each receiver is full and a manual sample can also be taken from the system.

Each cabinet has double access doors, gland and bulkhead plates, two atmospheric pressure sample receivers, proximity sensors and an IS junction box plus thermostatically controlled heater, fan and light.

The sample receivers are fitted with a quick-release coupling and flexible hose for ease of operation.
