JLMD's technical department is still working on research and development projects and permanently thinking of ways to adapt its FOR systems on 'dry' cargo vessels.

Several studies are being performed in partnership with reference operators within the market.

Drawings and arrangements are being discussed for vehicle carriers and bulk carriers.

They should rapidly lead to the validation of new adaptable FOR systems targeting these two types of vessels.

Those new evolutions have the potential to open new markets for the company, widening the target to roughly 20,000 vessels.

In the short term, JLMD aims at be able to provide a range of FOR systems for any merchant ship, since 'dry' cargo operators are facing the same environmental issues as tanker operators.
