Seen for the first time ever at the Pittsburgh Conference in New Orleans, the Ultima 2 ICP Spectrometer features a fresh new design incorporating a new electronic interface using Rapid Chip technology

Seen for the first time ever at the Pittsburgh Conference in New Orleans March 6-10, the Ultima 2 features a fresh new design incorporating a new electronic interface using Rapid Chip technology This new technology combines with powerful, improved software to decrease the speed of analysis significantly and increase laboratory productivity

Other new features include a patented Smart Hood exhaust system, new Quick Release sample introduction area for easy access and an improved optical design reducing operating costs for analysis below 190 nm while maintaining the high optical resolution of 0.005nm.

The instrument provides the ultimate in low level detection for trace analysis with a radial plasma orientation.

The Ultima 2 offers over 30 new software features including Federal Drug Administration reporting, remote diagnostics and Win-Image.

The new Win-Image provides complete elemental identification of every sample automatically at all emission lines in less than 2 minutes.
