Safeball is an ergonomic switch that does not require the pushing or pressing action of normal start systems.

Shaped similar to a tennis ball, the switches are mounted internally either side of the ball.

The only action required to operate the switch is for the operator to let his or her hand fall down and hold the switch as if they were holding a ball.

This makes it easy for anyone to use, as only a low activation force is required.

The two switches come as one normally open and one normally closed and this can be used with the correct two-hand start relay in order to safely activate machinery.

A version with two normally open switches is available by request.

Also Jokab Safety has a ball-joint mounting, which means the Safeball can be rotated or angled for an improved working environment and better operating posture.

Jokab Safety can also offer a complete system, which comprises two Safeballs with an emergency stop button mounted on a pedestal assembly with handrail together with a two-hand start relay.
