Jokab Safety offers AS-i connection for E-stop

Jokab Safety has developed an AS-i connection for its small, robust E-stop unit.
According to the company, it developed the connection because time, space and a high safety category are essential factors for many machines today.
The 'Smile' E-stop unit has one M12 connector enabling quick installation and easy replacement.
Using the Pluto AS-i safety control system from Jokab Safety, this node can also be exchanged without having to reprogram the AS-i control system.
Light-emitting-diode (LED) indication of E-stop status is also provided (green for okay and red for stop) as well as for AS-i status indication.
The size and the centred mounting holes facilitate installation, especially on aluminium extrusions, which are frequently used for machine building and safeguarding.
