JobsGroup.net, the UK's largest independent network of niche jobsites, attracted 3.6 million unique users during 2006, an increase of 1.1 million - or 44% - on 2005.

Mark Hepworth, Managing Director, comments: "2006 was an incredible year for JobsGroup.net as the company experienced explosive growth to become the UK's largest independent operator of niche jobsites with record-breaking traffic levels and registrations".

"The awards, nominations, accreditations and innovations are certainly nice to shout about, but more importantly they will help us to deliver a faster, more flexible, and more effective service to you in 2007".

In 2006 JobsGroup.net launched artificial intelligence matching (AIM) on JustEngineers.net after 12 months of development and beta testing with Burning Glass Technologies of San Diego.

AIM dramatically improves the speed, accuracy and flexibility of online recruitment for both recruiters and jobseekers.

During 2007 JobsGroup.net will continue to ensure its sites are ranked number one for even more relevant search terms using a combination of the best SEO consultants in the business and in-house IT expertise, further boosting traffic and registrations (which rose 44 and 66%, respectively, during 2006).

The company will be investing more heavily than ever before in advertising on relevant sites to drive more jobseeker traffic, building on the existing PPC and banner advertising with Google, Yahoo, MSN, Orange.co.uk, Independent.co.uk, Yell.com, 1Job.co.uk, LocalRecruit.co.uk, WorkCircle.co.uk and dozens more.

JobsGroup.net will be advertising widely in both national and local newspapers, and in trade and consumer publications, building on last year's deals with the Daily Telegraph, Independent, Heat, Keystone Scotland and its own Just Technical jobs.

The company will for the first time be advertising on perimeter TV signage during high profile Rugby Super League games broadcast live on Sky Sports 1 and repeated on Sky Sports 3 and BBC2 to drive more jobseekers to the sites.

JobsGroup.net will be sponsoring high profile award events to raise awareness amongst senior personnel, including the ISMM BESMA Awards with more to be announced.

JobsGroup.net will be exhibiting at six National Graduate Recruitment Exhibitions, both National Engineering and Construction Recruitment Exhibitions, and at Successful Selling, the UK's only exhibition for sales professionals - with more to be announced.
