The latest dc voltage operated compressors from Jun-Air are ideal where there is no access to mains power.

This covers a wide range of transport equipment including boats, trains, motor vehicles and planes.

Special purpose transport including ambulances, refrigerated trucks, public service vehicles and mobile plant can utilise an auxiliary power source such as compressed air to run some of their support and back-up equipment.

With the ability to operate as compressors or vacuum pumps, the units are particularly versatile and models for 12 and 24V operation can be supplied, providing a displacement of 20 litres/minute at 8 bar pressure.

Called the OF301 series, these compressors are of a compact oil-free design which features an open motor incorporating an efficient cooling fan.

The innovative WIP compression principle requires minimum moving parts which reduces operating noise, vibration and wear on parts to an absolute minimum.

The low operating noise level of only 55dB (A), together with a compact size means that the products can be located close to personnel without creating nuisance or an unacceptable environment.

The products can be used as individual compressor units only, or as reservoir mounted assemblies.

The units feature adjustable mountings to provide a variable footprint, ideal for replacement even of competitors equipment, and the compressors are suitable for both horizontal and vertical mounting.

Multiple outlet parts are provided for ease of installation and an external air intake can be fitted with an intake filter to help maintain air quality.

Lifetime tests have exceeded 10,000 hours at 100% duty cycles of 8 bar pressure and 35øC temperature.

Annual maintenance only is anticipated, for replacement of air intake filters and brush replacement for motors at 2000 hours.
