Winco unveils clamping levers with eccentrical cam

A JW Winco product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 31, 2009

Winco has announced its series GN 927 clamping levers with eccentrical cam.

These clamping levers are used for rapid clamping and releasing, and come in both tapped and stud types.

The levers have no loose components, permit torque-free clamping and cannot exceed the maximum clamping position.

They are RoHS compliant, with zinc die-cast handles and a matte black plastic-coated, abrasion-proof epoxy resin finish.

Components are made from zinc-plated, blue passivated steel.

The levers are available with two types of technopolymer contact plates: a fixed version, or an adjustable contact plate, with which the distance between the eccentrical cam and the contact surface is adjustable by means of a fine-threaded knurled nut.

The levers allow thrust forces of up to 8kN to be obtained.
