Steel socket set screws with full, flat or serrated ball point ends are now available from JW Winco.

Steel socket set screws with full, flat or serrated ball point ends are now available from JW Winco.

The socket set screws are made of alloy steel with a black oxide finish and the balls are hardened steel.

The full ball point version is used in applications where a ball point contact is required.

The flat faced moveable ball allows the clamping or supporting of nonparallel surfaces.

Indentation on the workpiece is eliminated and the workpiece position is not altered during clamping.

The socket set screws with safety twist ball are designed so the flat faced ball cannot twist more than nine degrees.

This allows full clamping of the flat faced ball at all times.
