New from JW Winco are two different types of steel thrust pads with steel grub screws.

New from JW Winco are two different types of steel thrust pads with steel grub screws.

The thrust pads are used to transmit clamping forces by leaning to uneven and unparallel surfaces, eliminating the transmission of any screw turning movement to the workpiece.

The version with a steel, black oxide finish and a white, nylon plastic cover pad has a securing ring that allows simple mounting and removal of thrust point screws.

The white nylon pad is mainly used in non-marking surface applications.

The thrust pad with the steel case hardened body features a snap ring that provides a simple method to connect the thrust pad to the grub screw.

The grub screw has a steel, black oxide finish and is designed to be used with or without the thrust pad for clamping.

Combining grub screws with different handles and knobs can create a variety of simple clamping screws.
