Kaleido Technology has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company in its drive for further international growth.
Kaleido Technology has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company in its drive for further international growth.
The new appointee Jesper Wolf Bek, most recently with Intel Corporation, brings a wealth of sales, marketing and management experience from positions served in Europe and Asia.
Previous to this Jesper Bek held senior positions in sales and marketing at GIGA - an innovative company that was sold to Intel for a record US $1.25 billion in 2000.
Asked about his new appointment Bek commented: "I look forward to joining Kaleido Technology at this very exciting time".
"The company has tremendous potential for growth in the coming years with its unique in-house technology for moulding of precision optics".
"Kaleido already has an established market in the direct-machined optics and I am looking forward to lifting Kaleido Technology to the next platform".
"We will seize the opportunity to further grow Kaleido Technology's presence in the key markets".
In this phase of expansion of Kaleido Technology, Jesper Boie Rasmussen, previous CEO of Kaleido Technology, will remain a member of Kaleido Technology's core staff as CTO and will dedicate his efforts to developing the core competence of Kaleido Technology based on his long standing experience of the optics business.
Chairman of the Board, Steen Gundersen said: "I am delighted that Jesper Bek has joined Kaleido Technology".
