Gambica, The Carbon Trust, Profibus International and AS-i will be running a series of exclusive, free-of-charge presentations alongside the Drives and Controls Exhibition next month in Telford.

Gambica, The Carbon Trust, Profibus International and AS-i will be running a series of exclusive, free-of-charge presentations alongside the Drives and Controls Exhibition at Telford from 12th to 14th October 2004.

A seminar programme is available to view and download from the Drives and Controls website.

Space is limited, so people are advised to preregister online.

"A series of presentations and live demonstrations by some of the biggest names in industry offers attendees the opportunity to get up-to-date with technologies that will help to shape the future of the automation market", says show organiser, Ken Purchase.

The Carbon Trust will demonstrate how to implement an effective energy efficiency programme, and Gambica will devote its seminar to G5/4 harmonics.

Profibus International and AS-i organisations will cover practical applications of key, emerging communications and automation technologies.

An expert from Siemens will show how easy it is to integrate drive and motion systems into automation installations with Profidrive.

AS-i seminars will include case studies of AS-i in action in the food and other process industries, and applying AS-i Safety at Work.

A speaker from the Health and Safety Executive will look at the regulatory background to networked safety systems, and there is a peek into the future, with a report on the latest extensions to AS-i.
