A DFA Media product story

IFPEX 2008 provided a forum as much for networking as it was for displays of technological advances.

The International Fluid Power Exhibition (IFPEX) took place at the NEC, Birmingham in April.

Before this year's event, IFPEX was last seen on the NEC hoardings in 2000.

IFPEX 2008 again brought together the best in fluid power, from component manufacturers to distributors.

This year's event provided a forum as much for networking as it was for displays of technological advances.

Paul Bako of hydraulic parts specialist Anchor Fluid Power said: "This was our first show in the UK for a number of years".

"We have definitely met people that we would otherwise have been unaware of".

IFPEX is a bi-annual show co-located alongside Drives and Controls, Air-Tech, Plant and Works Exhibition, Electrex, Subcon and MACH.

IFPEX makes its next appearance between the 8th and 10th of June, 2010.
