Air-Tech 2008 highlighted technologies such as pneumatic cylinders and valves, air treatment equipment and instrumentation, air dryers, condensing separators, heat exchangers and control systems.

Air-Tech 2008 surpassed expectations both in terms of visitor numbers and the range of technological developments on display.

Air-Tech is a one-stop shop covering the whole compressed air supply chain from compressors to practical applications.

This year's show highlighted technologies such as pneumatic cylinders and valves, air treatment equipment and instrumentation, air dryers, condensing separators, heat exchangers and control systems and had the backing of the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS).

BCAS Executive Director, Chris Dee, said on the event: "Air-Tech provides a tremendous forum for networking among our compressed air equipment manufacturer and distributor membership as well as the end-user community".

"It is also of great importance for consultants, students and retired people who want to stay in touch with the compressed air industry".

He also added the event is invaluable for keeping in touch with professional advisors, as well as making contact with younger people who aim to become more active in the industry after they have finished their studies.

Compressor manufacturers were out in force including: Atlas Copco, Bambi, Boge, HPC and Mattei Compressors.

Other exhibitors included: Aerzen, Beko, Condensate Systems, Donaldson Ultrafilter, Factair, Gardner Denver, Jacob, Reelcare, Teseo and Testo.

Air-Tech is a bi-annual show co-located alongside Plant and Works Exhibition, Drives and Controls, IFPEX, Electrex, Subcon and MACH, making the whole series of events the most important manufacturing exhibitions in the UK.

Air-Tech makes its next appearance from the 8th to the 10th of June 2010.
