The AS model pressure transducer from KA Sensors offers a new solution to the demanding applications found in motorsports and automotive development.

The AS model pressure transducer from KA Sensors offers a new solution to the demanding applications found in motorsports and automotive development.

Race teams in rally, touring cars, superbikes, GT cars, powerboats and single seaters are using the sensors with tremendous success.

The AS Model is designed as a high specification yet cost effective and reliable transducer.

The compact unit is made from stainless steel and is fitted with high spec cable and strain relief boot to ensure integrity in dirty or wet environments.

Pressure ranges are available from 0-1 to 0-300bar, with options of sealed gauge or absolute reference.

There is an option of power supply which ensures compatibility with most automotive systems.

Designers can choose either 5V ratiometric or 8-16V unregulated.

Also a high degree of EMI/RFI filtering means that the signal stays noise free.

Output is standard 0.5 to 4.5V, with others available on request.

Operating temperature between -20 and +135C means that this model will survive in most applications.

Pressure ports are available in the standard automotive sizes, including M10x1, 1/8 NPT, 3/8-24UNF and G1/4, and other sizes are available on request.

Applications include: fuel injector, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, steering fluid, airbox and turbo boost.

KA Sensors can also custom design a transducer should the AS Model not quite fit the application.
