The KA-USB data logger from KA Sensors offers a new solution for sensor to computer connection and data acquisition.

The low-cost and miniature Model KA-USB is the first of a new generation of simple to use data acquisition products from KA Sensors.

Logging at a maximum of 21 bits resolution and up to 50,000 samples per second the KA-USB is ideal for applications such as mobile logging of vehicle parameters and stand alone applications such as test rigs or monitoring of remote pumping stations.

Pressure, force, acceleration, torque, speed and displacement sensors can all be connected directly, with no extra signal conditioning required.

Power is taken directly from the USB connection in most cases, or via a separate power supply if required.

It has five analogue, one digital and one counter input, along with five digital and 1 analogue output.

The supplied software is very simple to use and allows full configuration of each input and output by easy selectable buttons.

Real-time display of data is shown and this can also be logged direct to a file for further manipulation.

Drivers for most common data acquisition software programs are available.

Optional items such as breakout terminal boxes, wiring, power supplies and sensors are all available.
