Kaptifast UK has merged with its Italian manufacturing partner, Unifast, to better develop the UK market for its captive fastener product range.

Products marketed in the UK include: Kapti-nut - the unique high strength captive nut and stud system, ideal for automated feeding in progression presses; rivet nuts - a full range in steel, stainless steel, aluminium and brass in all head style and body configurations; hollow wall anchors - re-usable screw anchors for use in steel and plasterboard where large grip ranges are required or imperfect holes are apparent; rubber nuts - in Neoprene or EPDM with brass or stainless steel moulded inserts, for use in applications where vibration and shock resistance are key requirements; and weld nuts - standard DIN828 square and DIN929 hexagon together with specials to customers' requirements can be supplied.
