Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 19, 2002

Kardex Systems is organising a seminar on how to dramatically reduce storage and retrieval costs.

With the pressure on UK manufacturing showing no sign of easing, storage specialist Kardex Systems is throwing a lifeline to production directors and managers, by organising a seminar on how to dramatically reduce storage and retrieval costs.

To be held at the University of Warwick on Wednesday 8th May 2002, topics will include saving floor space, faster retrieval of stock, health and safety, e-procurement and increasing productivity.

Hosted by TV news presenter, Nick Owen, the seminar will hear from experts from both Kardex Systems and the University of Warwick Manufacturing Group, which promotes international best practice in manufacturing engineering.

Following the formal presentations, there will be opportunity to ask questions as well as see the latest in storage technology installed at Warwick.

Announcing the seminar, Nick Tuggey, marketing director at Kardex Systems, explained: "Whether it's warehousing, stores or production, storage is always a cost which needs minimising.

By attending this seminar you can learn both the theory and the practicalities, and benefit from the experience of others".

The cost of the half-day seminar is GBP 95 but there are a limited number of free places for those who book early.
