UK based KB4, the developer of DriveWorks, the design automation software for SolidWorks Users, has appointed CAE Northwest as the first Reseller of DriveWorks in the US
UK based KB4, the developer of DriveWorks, the design automation software for SolidWorks Users, has appointed CAE Northwest as the first Reseller of DriveWorks in the US.
CAE Northwest is one of the most established mechanical engineering systems providers in the northwest, with corporate offices in Bothell, Washington, and full service facilities in Portland, Oregon, and Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
CAE Northwest is the only SolidWorks reseller with certified training/support centres in all three states and has sold more licenses of SolidWorks than all other northwest resellers combined.
The reseller is dedicated to providing comprehensive solutions to engineering, manufacturing, and educational organizations.
Glen Smith, KB4 Technical Director has recently returned from the US, where he finalised the Reseller Agreement.
Whilst there he was also invited to address the Seattle Area SolidWorks Power User Group, SASPUG's and said "DriveWorks captures design and engineering knowledge and experience, or 'rules' inherent within the product design.
Once captured, DriveWorks marries 'intelligence' with un-attended processing power to perform repetitive design engineering tasks.
The output is all the information required to manufacture and market product variants." He went on to add, "There was a lot of interest in DriveWorks from the SolidWorks Group and our new Reseller is already in discussion with several interested parties.".
