Visitors to the first SolidWorks Solution Partner Fair in the UK will have the opportunity to see and try out DriveWorks, the knowledge based engineering package for SolidWorks users.

Visitors to the first SolidWorks Solution Partner Fair in the UK, at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon on the 17th September 2002, will have the opportunity to see and try out DriveWorks, the knowledge based engineering package for SolidWorks users and preview DriveWorks.Net the new web version.

DriveWorks, which achieved the coveted SolidWorks Gold Partner status earlier this year, is the proven knowledge based engineering (KBE) solution that enables SolidWorks users to easily capture product design rules and create customized, design to order products.

Companies in the UK, USA and Europe are using DriveWorks to capture the knowledge required to specify, price, design and manufacture products in several vertical markets.

DriveWorks is affordable and easy to implement.

The cost of ownership is low because DriveWorks does not require expensive programming and customisation.

DriveWorks saves design time and allow engineering/manufacturing companies that design, engineer or assemble-to-order, to be more efficient, more competitive and better able to respond to customers' demands.

"DriveWorks provides our customers with a fully integrated, best-in-class knowledge based engineering solution, allowing them to easily create multiple product iterations in a short amount of time.

Engineers and non-engineers alike now have a powerful, easy to use solution for creating design to order products", says Brian Houle, Gold Products Manager for SolidWorks Corporation Entrance to the Partner Fair is free and light refreshments and lunch snacks will be provided.

The exhibition area will be open from 09.00 to 17.00, so visitors can spend as much time as required looking around the partner stands.

SolidWorks Corporation will also be giving a "sneak peek" preview of some of the new features in SolidWorks 2003.
