SolidWorks World 2004 this month in Boston will see the first major release of DriveWorks since the product became a SolidWorks certified Gold Partner Product in June 2002.
SolidWorks World 2004 this month in Boston will see the first major release of DriveWorks since the product became a SolidWorks certified Gold Partner Product in June 2002.
DriveWorks2004 is even more responsive and easier to use.
Users will appreciate the new DriveWorks Rules Capture Wizard and integrated DriveWorks Form Designer.
Both these additions will reduce set up and learning curves even further so that customers can enjoy an even faster return on their investment.
One of the major advantages of DriveWorks over other knowledge based engineering software is that DriveWorks does not require expensive programming or customisation.
DriveWorks uses the tools on most SolidWorks users desktops - SolidWorks and Microsoft Excel.
Visitors to the DriveWorks booth (46) at SolidWorks World will be able to meet members of the UK based DriveWorks team, try the software and receive a free fully functional 12 month licence of DriveWorksXpress.
DriveWorks will also be presented at a number of the SolidWorks Conference sessions.
On Tuesday 20th January at 1530 local time, DriveWorks User, Steve Fye of Kentucky based Conveyor Manufacturer, Span Tech will be presenting a case study paper entitled "How Span Tech uses DriveWorks to create custom standardised products in minutes, not days".
And on Wednesday 21st January at 1330 local time, Glen Smith, Technical Director and cofounder of DriveWorks, will reveal how SolidWorks users can engineer to order using SolidWorks and DriveWorks.
