Having made backshells with high levels of electrical screening for over 20 years KEC, the Aldermaston based EMC interconnect specialist, has announced its first non-screened backshell.
Having made backshells with high levels of electrical screening for over 20 years KEC, the Aldermaston based EMC interconnect specialist, has announced its first non-screened backshell.
The KC 1000 range is a cost-effective spin coupler backshell designed to fit all standard MIL spec circular connectors.
When used with a shrink boot the KC 1000 provides both environmental protection and strain relief.
All models are available as standard in aluminium but can be supplied in stainless steel, aluminium bronze, mild steel and brass to suit specific applications.
This low cost backshell will find applications in all areas of defence, aerospace, telecommunications and general electronics where more sophisticated screened products are unnecessary.
