Transmitters boast microbar resolution

A Keller UK product story

A new range of high-accuracy high-resolution pressure transmitters is capable of measuring low pressures with a resolution down to one millionth of a bar.

Keller has produced the Series 41X, a new range of high-accuracy high-resolution pressure transmitters capable of measuring low pressures with a resolution down to one millionth of a bar.

Available in five standard pressure ranges from 0-10 to 0-200mbar, the transmitters use a corrosion-resistant ceramic pressure measuring element, combined with their digital compensation technology to give low pressure measurement with superb performance in accuracy and resolution.

These well established techniques allow Keller to offer devices with a total error band of +/-0.1% full-scale over a compensated temperature range of 0 to 50C.

The analogue output signal of 4-20mA or 0-10V DC is updated at 400Hz, with user-programmable internal damping giving a reduction to 0.01Hz to suit specific applications.

As standard, the 41X is supplied with a bus-capable RS485 digital interface.

As well as adjustment of the calibrated range and signal output update frequency using Keller PROG30 software, it also allows up to 128 transmitters to be connected onto a digital bus architecture.

The Series 41X units, costing from GBP 330 each, can be supplied with a choice of process and electrical connections to suit a variety of uses including HVAC, engine test, tank gauging and water dosing.
