Modular system monitors tanks

Castello comprises an electronics enclosure and a pressure transmitter for level measurement.

Under the name of Castello, Keller has introduced a flexible, modular system for the accurate indication of filling contents in any pressurised or nonpressurised tank Castello comprises an electronics enclosure and a pressure transmitter for level measurement

The enclosure and the hydrostatic sensor can be interchanged at will.

The electronic-based micro-processor in the enclosure, energised by a 9V compound battery, converts the analogue signal of the transmitter into a digital value, indicating the quantity of remaining liquid on a five-digit LED display in the desired unit (litres, gallons, etc).

The battery lasts for at least 6000 readings of five seconds each.

Optionally, Castello can also be programmed to display the vacant volume within the tank, simplifying tank filling procedures.

Whilst providing measurement relative to atmospheric pressure, Castello is fully waterproof.

The atmospheric pressure is measured by a sensor mounted in the display enclosure with the waterproof diaphragm exposed to the ambient.

This method eliminates the need for capillary vented cables, susceptible to water clogging.

The software used to configure Castello is provided free of charge.

It contains the pressure/content curves of most conventional tank shapes.

It also foresees the application for free standing towers.

Nonstandard tank forms can be accommodated by specific factory programming on request.

Castello can be connected to the PC via Keller convertor K-107.

A comprehensive data sheet and full product catalogue are available on request. Request a free brochure from Keller UK ...
