Kenyon is now an official distributor of Henkel industrial adhesives.
Kenyon is now an official distributor of Henkel industrial adhesives.
From January 2005 Kenyon will be working in close partnership with Henkel in order to promote packaging, labelling, product assembly and woodworking products.
Henkel Adhesives is the world's largest producer of industrial and consumer adhesives.
Consumer brands such as Loctite, Pritt Stick, Unibond, Sellotape, Persil, Schwarzkopf and Solvite are several names for which Henkel is famous.
Ian Kenyon, Sales Director, says: "We had been looking for a supplier that offered innovative adhesives, an extensive product range, and total support".
"Henkel were also looking for an established distributor that specialised in adhesives, so a perfect match was made".
"Our current customer base is spread between woodworking, furniture, product assembly and packaging markets, but as sales of our adhesive application equipment takes us more and more into packaging applications, we felt that we needed to find a supplier that could really assist us".
"Furthermore, our website - which was recently redesigned - has brought numerous enquiries that are mostly packaging related".
Just a few innovations from Henkel include: colourless Technomelt Supra packaging adhesives that can be proven to work at reduced coat weights and also offer both high and low temperature resistance, single component membrane pressing adhesives, single component foam bonding adhesives, reactive hot-melt adhesives in granular form for use with standard edge-banding equipment and low emission PUR hot-melts.
