Kew unveils diagonal cutting and stripping pliers

A Kew Technik product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 28, 2008

Electrical tools distributor, Kew Technik, has recently introduced diagonal cutting and stripping pliers, ESCS 0407A, to its Powergrip range of cutters, pliers, wire strippers and screwdrivers.

The pliers have one stripping hole located at the tip that is capable of stripping 1.5mm and 2.5mm cable.

The location of the hole leaves the majority of the cutting edge free for cutting.

A cutting-edge hardness to HRC58-62 and the comfortable heavy-duty international orange insulation on the hand grips ensures that the pliers are capable of cutting both hard and soft wire cable and back box screws effortlessly in one attempt.

The pliers are insulated to 1,000V and certified to EN 60900 standards, with each tool being date stamped with the month and year of production.

They have been rigorously and independently tested at every stage of development including submission to extreme heat for 72 hours, freeze tests and an insulation test to 10,000V.

Also available is Kew Technik's 2009 free catalogue, which is illustrated with full colour pictures and contains details of a vast range of products.
