Full of the latest sensor and measurement products, the Keyence "Sensors, vision and measurement" catalogue comes in a compact B5 size for easy handling and storage Features of the catalogue include a 60-page technical guide, plus a 26-page application section divided by industry

With more new products on show, the 2002 version contains 503 pages of information on sensors, machine vision systems, measuring instruments, barcode readers, PLCs and other factory automation sensing and control related products.

New products featured, include the CV-700 series advanced machine vision system.

The menu-driven compact system uses a new shade-scale-technology image processing method that solves inspection problems that were once difficult or impossible with conventional grey-scale systems.

Also featured is the revolutionary LS-7000 series, a high-speed optical micrometer with no rotating mirror or other moving parts.

In addition it replaces the conventional laser light source with a LED, hence increasing product reliability and lifetime.

Both features ensure a maintenance free and highly accurate device where 0.15-micron repeatability can be achieved at up to 2400sample/s.

Yet another innovation is the LV series, a range of laser optic sensors which offer extreme detecting distance yet maintain an extremely compact sensor head size.

The LV series offers flexibility when it comes to installation position and ensures the inspection area is free of congestion.
