The VHX-600 digital microscope performs real-time, on-screen measurement of the distance, radius, angle and area of the target.

The new Keyence VHX-600 digital microscope has a 54 mega-pixel 3CCD and a high-performance graphic engine, offering high image quality and colour accuracy 3D image composition produces image depth beyond the capabilities of high-end optical systems

The VHX-600 RZ lens system provides high resolution and depth of field.

The microscope provides real-time on-screen measurements, particle counting, digital focus and 3D surface profiling with colour/height topographic displays.

X, Y and Z axis scales are automatically calculated.

Other features include a 160Gbyte hard disk, a CD-R/RW drive and a LAN connection.

The 3CCD camera can be handheld for convenient examination of large targets.

The VHX-600 produces sharp, clear images without tedious, time-consuming sample preparation or system training.

3D image composition enables the VHX-600 to image objects with large surface height differences that cannot be focused on with conventional microscopes.

Targets can be freely observed with the 3CCD camera/lens unit handheld or mounted in the multiangle viewing stand.

As the angle is varied, the VHX-600 maintains focus.

3D image composition mode allows the user to obtain sharp images of specimens with large height differences such as PCBs, electronic components, automotive parts, biological and medical specimens.

Real-time camera shake correction removes the effects of environmental vibration.

An optimal contrast algorithm automatically adjusts bright and dark image areas to provide optimum viewing quality.

A lighting shift function compensates for target surface illumination variations, and the system provides digital focus with real-time, high-speed depth composition to provide clear, sharp 3D images.

An anti-halation mode suppresses surface gloss.

A vibration-proof, free-angle viewing stand is available for use with high magnification lenses.

The VHX-600 performs real-time, on-screen measurement of the distance, radius, angle and area of the target.
