KT Hydraulics designs and manufactures bespoke hydraulic systems for such diverse industries as food, oil and gas, marine and even Formula One motor racing.
KT Hydraulics' centrifugal pumps from Kracht suit hazardous environments, such as those found in the petrochemical, gas and processing industries, where vapour, fumes and fine powder mists require protecting from any risk of ignition.
ATEX-certified equipment conforms to current legislation, maintaining a safer working environment.
"As regulations have tightened we are noticing a considerable increase in enquiries for our ATEX certified products", KTH Director Richard Ellis said.
"There are very few manufacturers out there with the right products for hazardous environments and customers often don't know where to turn when original equipment breaks down".
"You can't simply repair a pump and put it back into these environments, you need ATEX-certified replacement parts to ensure continued operational safety".

The company is the sole distributor for Kracht pumps, flowmeters and hydraulic equipment in the United Kingdom.
