Precipitators typically require a great number of interlocks and transfer panels that can be quite large in size.
Kirk Key Interlock understands that plant operators generally have a certain "shutdown window" that must be met and, therefore, has greatly increased their inventory and added to their staff in order to guarantee quick shipment of precipitator interlock systems.

Precipitator projects typically require Type F interlocks of varying lock bolt lengths that are installed on breakers and grounding switches in the interlock scheme.
With the help of Kirk Key Interlock product coordinators, the interlock schemes can be developed to force all breakers and switches to be locked safe prior to allowing release of any keys for hopper doors, access doors, and manhole covers.
Kirk Key's interlocks are durably made from brass and stainless steel so they will survive the harsh precipitator environment.
