The Renault F1 team is using a specially developed version of the Kistler RoaDyn measuring wheel system to gather data about the real-time performance of its Grand Prix car.

During testing, the measuring wheels are fitted in place of the standard wheels and the six-component forces, and moments are transferred to the onboard data logger.

Renault F1 and Kistler have optimised the RoaDyn measuring wheel design through extensive testing, utilising the resources of both Renault F1 and Kistler.
