Monitoring software watches moulding process
The latest addition to the CoMo monitoring and analysis range, is a manufacturing information system designed to provide a quick, yet comprehensive overview of the injection process.
The new Kistler CoMo-MIS, the latest addition to the widely used CoMo monitoring and analysis range, is a manufacturing information system designed to provide a quick, yet comprehensive overview of the injection process during the moulding cycle.
The Type 2829A system operates in conjunction with the CoMo Injection Type 2869A monitoring units to automate the entire flow of process data.
CoMo-MIS database is used to archive production data acquired via an Ethernet connection from any number of CoMo units and offers direct access to data from individual units.
In addition to the values computed from the process monitoring units, complete curves can also be archived for detailed analysis.
Using a universal web browser client via an intranet or the Internet, any authorised user can access the CoMo-MIS to view and evaluate current production data at any time from any type of networked unit in any location anywhere in the world.
The new CoMo-MIS is part of the Kistler "zero reject" range of injection moulding monitoring, analysis and control systems using mould pressure measurement throughout the injection cycle.
