Collaboration software agreement reached
KollabNet has signed DesignPoint Solutions as its first SolidMap reseller.
KollabNet has signed DesignPoint Solutions as its first SolidMap reseller.
Only days after debuting its new productivity tool called SolidMap which enables SolidWorks users to visualise relationships that exist in part and assembly models, DesignPoint Solutions has decided to distribute the tool to its SolidWorks user base.
"The response from SolidWorks users about our release of SolidMap has been overwhelmingly positive".
"We are excited to work with DesignPoint Solutions to get this tool into the hands of their users", says Igal Kaptsan, CEO of KollabNet.
Visualisation of the feature, part, and file interdependencies dramatically reduces the time required to understand how a model is built which, in turn, enables users to much more efficiently edit models and completely eliminates the need for users to rebuild models prior to being able to edit them.
SolidMap represents significant value to both the organization as well as to the individual user.
It offers overall productivity improvement through more efficient visualisation of the complex relationships that exist within a SolidWorks file, as well as allowing increased collaboration among SolidWorks users by enabling users to more easily understand how a model was built.
Users can understand models in significantly less time in order to complete necessary edits; , as well as more efficiently pinpointing and fixing rebuild errors and more easily sharing models with colleagues.
"The ability of SolidMap to enable users to better understand complex interdependencies within SolidWorks models will be a significant benefit to our users".
"It is a productivity tool that is not limited to a select industry".
"SolidMap can help every one of our customers", says John Cioffi, Owner of DesignPoint Solutions.
